Assistant Store Manager
Summary Description:
To assist manager in the daily operations of assigned retail store. Assisting Manager in daily store operations. Assume management responsibilities when necessary. Complete daily reports in Manager’s absence. Operate cash registers. Provides customer service in a positive, professional, and courteous manner. Compliance to all Sales Division procedures and agency policy and procedures. Courteously answering phones. Attend meetings as assigned. Other duties as assigned in related field. **BENEFITS after 90 days successful completion of Introductory Period including health insurance, vacation, sick and holiday. P/T employees they receive half of the benefits.** Goodwill also offers a monthly bonus/incentive program.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or its equivalent. Three to five years experience in retail sales with two to three years experience in supervisory position. Positive work history. Ability to understand complex instructions. Knowledge of retail and supervision of others. Understanding of value added process. Fluent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Cooperation with Division Director and direct supervisors. Ability to supervise, direct, motivate, discipline staff as necessary. Ability to work well with the public. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
