The Workforce Development Program:
- Emphasizes a commitment to matching good employees with good jobs
- Works closely with each individual employer to understand the employer’s unique business needs
- Tailors employee training, job placement and post-employment services to meet the specific needs of the employer
- Assists participating employers in determining eligibility for tax credits
- Provides on-going support to both the employer and the new employee to assure long-term success
- Provides individual or small group job placement to meet the workforce needs of each company
